Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette: Swatches & Review

Hey guys! So today I have a review for you on the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette for Spring 2014! The collection also comes with some new lip colors, an iphone palette, and blushes!
But for now lets stick with this palette!
This palette contains 16 eyeshadows; 6 matte, and 10 shimmer/satin. The eyeshadows are antioxidant-rich and infused with cocoa powder just like their bronzers! The smell isn't too over powering but you can definetly get a whiff of the chocolatey goodness when you open the palette.
It comes with a Glamour Guide with three looks to get you started! I followed these easy to use directions and the looks were beautiful.

The packaging is super cute! Its a brown rectangluar case with a magnetic closure which is nice to travel with! There's only one problem! The inside of the palette has the plastic overlay with all the shadows names and sometimes if it gets in the way of the magnet it can stop the palette from closing. Not a deal breaker, but sometimes can be annoying.
Anyways! The palette is shaped like a Hershey's chocolate bar! Looks so cute! I just want to eat it!

The inside comes with a decent sized mirror, and like I said above a plastic overlay of all the shades!
NOW LET'S GET TO SWATCHING THESE CHOCOLATE INFUSED EYESHADOWS :)

 Left- Right
Gilded Ganache, White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Black Forest Truffle, Triple Fudge

Gilded Ganache- dark warm brown with yellow flecks of shimmer
White Chocolate- matte warm beige
Milk Chocolate - medium warm brown- matte
Black Forest Truffle- brown-burgundy with bronze shimmer- Has a slightly gritty texture.
Triple Fudge- matte dark brown
 Left- Right
Salted Caramel,Marzipan, Semi-sweet, Strawberry Bon Bon, Candid Violet, Amaretto
Salted Caramel- brownish orange matte
Marzipan-  peachy champagne with a slightly metallic finish
Semi-sweet- medium dark brown with reddish undertones & matte finish
Strawberry Bon Bon- pale pink, matte finish, not so opaque
Candid Violet-  smokey violet with multi colored glitter- gritty- sheer- hard to blend
Amaretto- brown with redish undertones and a slight sheen

 Left-Right
Hazelnut, creme brulee, haute chocolate, cherry cordial, champagne truffle
Hazelnut- dark brown with golden bronze, slight sheen
Creme Brulee-  darkened gold with metallic finish
Haute Chocolate  medium brown with metallic finish
Cherry Cordial- plummy brown with matte finish, bit dry
Champagne Truffle-  pinkish white with metallic finish

Final rundown- all the shadows were incredibly smooth and pigmented with some exceptions! I feel like Candid Violet could have packed a better punch and was quite disappointed with this shade! They apply and blend like a dream,  I had barely any fall out with any of the shades and they all wore well.

Let me know if you got your hands on this chocolate lovers dream and what your favorite shades are!

Sorry for neglecting this blog, but I'm so excited to be using it again!

CVS Beauty Clearance Sale Haul- 50%-75% off!

As always it's time for the HUGE CVS beauty clearance sale where tons and tons of different products and brands are on clearance for either 50% or 75%. If I were you I would head over to your local CVS and check out the sales! It's totally worth it. Just head on over to the beauty isle and look for the yellow and orange circle stickers!
As of Friday, my CVS didn't label anything on clearance, so I had to keep bringing items up to the self scanner to see if they were on clearance. Thank god for nouveaucheap's Master List of items that should be on sale! I printed it out and brought it with me, what a life saver!

Maybelline Master Drama Eyeliner: Review!

I've been wanting to try out Maybelline's new master drama eyeliner, and last week I finally picked it up in Midnight Master, which is a deep dark black! The price for this eyeliner ranges from about $8-$10 which is cheaper then most high end eyeliners, but more on the expensive side for drugstore.
Anyways, I wasn't really thrilled with the packaging on this eyeliner. It's a twist up, which I normally don't have any problems with, but this eyeliner only lets you twist up, and not back down. If you twist up to much, it's impossible to get it back down (well for me at least). Since it's an automatic pencil you loose a sharp point, so it's harder to apply a precise line. So, that is definitely something to keep in mind when purchasing this product.
The company claims this product is "easy application, bold color, and smudge-resistant wear for 24-hours".
Formula: I have to say, the eyeliner was very creamy and easy to apply. It didn't tug at my lids, and didn't skip like most pencil eyeliners tend to do.
The wear on this eyeliner was fabulous! It didn't smear on my upper lash line, or my water line! It stayed all day, with minimal disappearing on my water line. & on my upper lash line it didn't transfer or smudge!
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is fabulous! It stays jet black all day long!

Overall:
Pigmentation: 10/10
Product: 9.5/10
Application: 10/10
Wear: 9/10
Packaging: 6/10

DrugStore Steal: Wet n' Wild Eyeshadows!

Let's start off with the trios first. Both the Wet n wild trios 'Sweet as Candy' & 'Walking on Eggshells' both have 0.12oz of product for $2.99!

"Sweet as Candy" offers three neutral shades with metallic sheens. There is a warm white, medium-dark cocoa, & a light pink.
Each shade has amazing pigmentation, blends out so easily, and have a soft velvet feel.
"Walking on Eggshells"- again offers three wearable neutral shades. A creamy white highlighter with a frosty sheen. A medium soft brown with some gold undertones. And a peachy lid color that is more on the frosty side.

Moving on to the one single Color Icon eyeshadow in Nutty. This single eyeshadow prices for $1.99 for 0.06 oz of product. Nutty is a shimmer medium brown taupe, and depending on your skin tone it could look more silver/gray. This shadow blends nicely and wears for a long time. The pigmentation is amazing, and the texture is so soft.

Where to buy: CVS, Walgreens, Walmart.

Overall:
Pigmentation: 10/10
Product: 9.5/10
Application: 10/10
Wear: 9/10
